Environmental Policy
We, as members of the Sony Group, have been striving to meet the environmental objectives of the "Sony Group Environmental Vision" which is our global environmental policy.
Additionally we have been following Sony's mid term goal of "Green Management 2015 (GM2015)" for the diverse complex environmental problems such as global warming countermeasures, resource cycling and chemical substance management. Our goal is to sustain and protect our environmant and society.

ISO Certification
We obtained ISO 14001:2004 certification in 2001. We follow the overall certification system of the Sony group.
Examples of Our Environment Preserving Activities
Purchase of Green Electricity
Power user on OA equipment is the largest power expenditure in our company. We purchase "green electricity" to lessen the environmental impact as part of our environmental contribution to external/internal appeals and for our environmental awareness campaign. In addition, we are promoting energy saving activities in our company such as reduction of electricity in all areas.
500,000 kwh of the electricity used by Sony LSI Design Inc. in 2010 was green electricity.
